You can help us in a number of ways: by volunteering,
by donating to our Rescue Fund,
and by donating an item or items on our Wish List.
We specify some items by brand only because these
are found to work best for us. For example, Midwest
folding crates are easily passed around from person
to person where there is need, can be transported
folded, and work well in both a house or a vehicle,
where they can easily folded out of the way when not
in use.
Most of the items we wish for are small, but you
will also see some really big items here. You may
think "Well, that's unrealistic!" Perhaps it is, but
what good is a wish list if you cannot include everything
you wish for and need? (And if you have an "in"
at the North Pole, please pass our list on to you-know-who.)

Although we charge an adoption fee, this is
never enough to cover our expenses. Ordinary
vet costs (vaccinations, spay or neutering,
heartworm test and preventative) often exceed
that amount, and we never recoup our day-to-day
expenses for housing and feeding rescue dogs.
When a dog comes into rescue that needs special
care or surgery, these costs can sometimes become
hundreds or thousands of dollars. Occasionally,
we run out of room in foster care and need to
board a dog for a few days or longer. This can
add up as well. We need your help to be able
to continue to provide the care needed for ALL
our rescue dogs. Giving a donation to our organization
will go towards helping to pay for our ordinary
expenses, but will also help us with our extraordinary
expenses.
NEBCR, Inc. is an ALL
VOLUNTEER, 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and
all donations made to NEBCR are tax-deductible.

SUPPORTING AN INDIVIDUAL DOG:
If you prefer to give a donation for a specific
dog, we welcome your generosity as well. All
our dogs need help in one form or another, even
if it is just food and care, but sometimes people
like to put a face on the dog they are helping.
You may sponsor a dog that needs boarding, help
to pay for a dog's special needs, or just help
us feed and care for a particular dog. Please
read the biographies of our dogs and if you
can find it in your heart to help one of them,
please let us know which dog you wish to support.
Your donation will then be earmarked specifically
for that dog.
